Below is a step-by-step guide to help you get started with our services: installing necessary software, setting up backups, and migrating your email and domain to Microsoft 365.
Summary:
- Install Protect-IT Agent on each computer:
- Option 1: Arrange a Take Control Remote Access session for installation.
- Option 2: Visit the website, download, and run the installer.
- Time required: 5-20 minutes per computer.
- Dashboard Access:
- This is for an overview of your computers or to use the remote access feature; inform Solidarity IT’s technicians and they can set up access for you.
- COVE Backup Installation:
- Confirm with Solidarity IT’s technicians if you need COVE Backup: Documents or COVE Backup: Comprehensive.
- Installation can be done in the background once the Protect-IT agent is installed. The computer just needs to be left on at an arranged time.
- SentinelOne EDR Setup:
- Solidarity IT’s technicians will set up SentinelOne Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) once the Protect-IT agent is installed.
- Microsoft 365 Business Standard:
- Provide necessary details to Solidarity IT’s technicians for user account creation.
- Coordinate with Solidarity IT’s technicians for email migration and domain setup. For small businesses, moving mailboxes and domains to M365 typically takes about 3 days. The migration of data into SharePoint will be done at the same time as the email migration.
