Wed 24th Jan 2018 Tapas

A tasty tapas, good company, interesting tales and building business links. That’s what happened at the Olive tapas in Newton Abbot this Wednesday lunchtime.

I was asked by Chris of Devon Matters to assist with the organisation of the latest meetup of the A38 Business Club networking group.  15 of us were able to make it, representing businesses as diverse as Designers, Marketing consultants, Business to Business trading and IT services.

We heard a little bit about each of our businesses and how we could help each other to grow and improve.  Chris told us about his new book – The Captain and Mrs Jones and he had several copies with him, first edition fresh off the printers.  I’m glad I was able to help him organise the electronic files and chapter listings earlier this month.

The meal was amazing, fresh, crisp and light snacks followed by small bite-sized desserts and the venue itself had a wonderful atmosphere.  I definitely recommend a visit if you are in Newton Abbot or Paignton.  Their website is http://www.enjoytapas.com

The meetup was a great success and I’m looking forward to the next A38 Business Club meetup, the ‘Taste of Devon’ supper at the Edgemoor Hotel, Haytor Road, Bovey Tracey on the 28th February.
